Welcome to my website. My name is Myer Sankary.
I have been practicing law in the Los Angeles area for over forty years,since I graduated from Harvard Law School in 1965. During this time, I have had the opportunity to learn a lot about our legal system and about how to help clients achieve their goals and objectives.
In 2004 I learned about a new and innovative way people can communicate with each other in their work and in their personal lives. I went to Arizona State University to learn about the science of influence taught by Dr. Robert Cialdini, one of the leading authorities in the world on this subject. Dr. Cialdini is known for his best selling book, "Influence: Science and Practice."

My perspective is that lawyers should not only be good technicians who know the law and advise clients about what they can and cannot do; but lawyers should also be wise counselors. They should offer their wisdom and experience as well as their best judgment to achieve their client's legitimate interests, needs and goals. Lawyers should also be resourceful by recommending to their clients the services of a range of experts who can also serve their clients needs.
